Store Update on Covid-19

Dear Customers,

Due to the current situation in New Zealand and upon the recommendation of the Ministry of Health we are making changes to how we operate. Our staff are staying up-to-date with COVID-19 developments to ensure your safety as well as their own.


The Showroom is Now Open.

We will be operating the showroom under the following guidelines:

  • We will require you to sign in and have a NZ Vaccine Pass (We will scan with the verifier app at the front door)
  • Face Masks must be worn at all times.

If you don’t wish to Sign in or don’t have a Vaccine Pass or wish to wear a Mask. Contactless Click and Collect will still be available.

For the safety of our customers and staff. All Computer Lounge Staff are fully vaccinated.

From the 22nd of September Computer Lounge will be offering our whole range of goods for sale to the public through our online store.

Please check the Stock Statuses using the below guide before placing an order.


Delivery Order ETAs:

Delivery orders are still being processed as per normal with procedures in place to protect our staff, our customers and couriers.

product available for direct shipping Direct Ship - ships within 1-4 days – Not in stock at Computer Lounge. Note: Due to suppliers being overloaded ETA’s on Direct ship are not up to date

Note: Couriers will be experiencing larger work loads so please be patient.


Courier Deliveries:

Please follow the guidelines provided by NZ Post as to how you can stay safe. At this time Couriers are experiencing a lot of pressure due to the extra demand in deliveries. We are not able to guarantee delivery. Please be patient with them and expect delays with your delivery orders. (During the lock down we only use Couriers that deliver using Contactless methods) It can take an extra two to three days for your delivery status to be updated on their site. 

Saturday delivery is not guaranteed. Until further notice this delivery option is non-refundable.


Delivery Time Frames - Expect Delays

Due to demand with orders and Couriers being busy, please expect delays in order processing and in the time the courier system updates your delivery status (Allow an extra 2- 8 days). Larger bulk items such as Desks, Chairs, Large Monitors will take longer to deliver than normal (4-12 working days approx.) Thank you for your patience.

For the safety of our customers and team please read the following golden rules from the COVID19 site.

  • We ask everyone, employees, contractors and customers, with cold or flu-like symptoms to please stay home.
  • Please keep 2m apart from other groups of customers
  • We offer a QR code to sign-in using the official NZ COVID Tracer app
  • Please wear a face mask.
  • Please remember to wash or sanitize your hands.
  • General processing time is generally 1 working day.
  • General processing time for Bulk items, Cases, Monitors, Chairs, Desks is 1 to 4 working days.


Click and Collect Instructions

  • Place an order online
  • Wait for the "Pickup Confirmation" Email (This is not the "Order Confirmation" email)
  • Come to the store
  • Have your order number ready (6 digits)
  • Sign-in using the official NZ COVID Tracer app - Please have this downloaded in advance
  • Please text us according to the click & collect instruction by the door.
  • We will bring your order to the door. 
  • Come to the door to collect your order. Please wear a face mask.
  • Note: If you come to the store while not having received the "Pickup Confirmation" Email, you will be asked to return once you have received the email as your order will not be ready.


Payment - Cashless

During COVID red traffic light we will be operating Cashless. If you wish to pay via cash you will need to deposit it via ATM to our account.


Contactless Click & Collect Hours

  • Monday - Friday:   9:00 am – 5:30 pm
  • Saturday:               10:00 am –4:00pm
  • Sunday:                  Closed

Health and Safety

Computer Lounge has taken all appropriate public health measures to protect our Staff and Customers this includes:

  • Physical Distancing.
  • Hygiene Basics – Washing hands regularly.
  • The use of PPE. Masks and Gloves.
  • Disinfecting and cleaning our store daily.
  • Contact Tracing.
  • Daily monitoring of the health and well being of our staff.
