Nvidia RTX 30 Series Update

Hi Team,

Thank you for your support of launching the RTX 3070, RTX 3080 and RTX 3090. This has been the biggest product release that we have ever seen! Thank you for making it such a success.

We understand that you are excited about NVIDIA’s new RTX 30 Series Graphics Cards. Due to the large demand in the new models, there is currently a global shortage across the range of 30 Series GPUs. NVIDIA is well aware of the situation and has issued an apology.

ETA's for RTX 30 Series GPUs. (Updated 11/01/21)

We are still not receiving direct ETA's and have been hearing from most manufacturers that major shortages are still continuing and getting worse. However we are still receiving consignments each week at the moment, If you are in the process of ordering a card expect around 10 weeks approx at the moment as a guide. (Chinese New Year is also on the horizon and this normally delays shipments by 3 to 4 weeks)

Demand for Asus Strix and TUF RTX 3080 cards are still extremely high, and consignment stock levels for them are not increasing at the moment. Expect delivery time frames from 12 - 14 weeks approx. at the moment.
Consignments for MSI RTX 3080 cards are not increasing yet and still looking around once a month at the moment.
Consignments for Gigabyte RTX 3080 Eagle OC 10G cards are in very short supply, No updates incoming.
Consignments for Gigabyte RTX 3080 Aorus Master OC 10G cards, Only small quantities are arriving.

Every consignment is different at the moment. It can range from 3-5 cards up to around 15 cards.

We currenlty have a small shipment of Zotac 3080 and 3090 cards in stock. If you would like to switch to one of these cards, please email sales@computerlounge.co.nz. - Put in the subject line "Change to Zotac" and include your order number. We will do our best to get your order swapped as stock allows. (Price difference with be charged or refunded depending what you are swapping from)

Due to the large demand of these cards, there is a global shortage and stock is very limited at the moment. The sooner that you place an order the sooner we expect you to receive one of these inbound GPUs. Our team is working alongside the suppliers and manufacturers to get dates of incoming stock so we can provide you with a timeframe.
