Accountant

We’re looking for a confident, dedicated and industrious individual who is ready to help us out with our expanding business. We need another pair of hands helping out in our very busy,Mt Wellington-based office.

We are looking for someone with a fresh outlook and creative drive who is passionate about keeping numbers under control. The opportunity involves taking responsibility for delivering and implementing all our accounting needs as directed by our operations manager.

Your tasks would include:

  • Preparing and analysing Financial Statements of the company
  • Filing tax returns for the company while adhering and updating to laws relating to taxation
  • Providing advice on strategic financial and management decisions
  • Planning, preparing and maintaining revenue as well as expenditure budgets
  • Assess cash flow aspects in order to plan daily operational decisions
  • Handling accounting systems and improving efficiency
  • Undertaking financial audits and keeping up-to-date record
  • Updating management on any changes in accounting policies and maintain statutory compliance as per industry standards

Requirements would include:

  • A Passion for Computers and IT.
  • Degree in Accounting.
  • Two years of experience.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in implementing accounting frameworks.
  • Preferable knowledge of IFRS

Hours of work: 30 - 40 hours per week.

Technical Support Specialist Engineer

We are looking for a confident, dedicated and industrious individual who is ready to help us out with our expanding business.

We need another pair of hands helping out in our very busy,Mt Wellington-based office.We are looking for an experienced and confident technician with excellent communication skills and a fun and positive problem-solving approach to getting the job done. The opportunity involves building the best custom pcs in the industry, ranging from ready to ship pcs, too full hard-line water-cooled builds.

Your tasks would include:

  • Looking after customers in the service department,
  • Trouble shooting and diagnosing hardware and software issues to provide support resolutions..
  • Configuring desktops, workstations and servers to clients requirements.
  • Building Computer Lounges Custom Systems to order with cable management, Water cooling etc.
  • Building Computer Lounges Showroom and Custom Demo PC’s.
  • Installing software and downloading drivers, firmware and stress testing of systems to maximize quality control.
  • Work with the sales team to determine hardware and software requirements for client solutions.
  • Training and mentoring of support team.

Requirements would include:

  • A Passion for Computers.
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Have a good knowledge of PC hardware.
  • Have at least 2 years experience of building Hard Line Water Cooled PC's.
  • Knows how to build a PC with high level cable management.
  • Good knowledge of software installation.
  • Outstanding teamwork and communication.

Hours of work: 40 hours per week.

We are looking for an experienced and confident IT showroom salesperson with excellent communication skills and a fun and positive problem-solving approach to getting the job done. The opportunity involves serving customers in our showroom, dealing with enquiries, providing product knowledge and other tasks as needed. Computer/IT knowledge is highly advantageous.

Your tasks would include :

  • Helping to run our showroom on a daily basis.
  • Studying the features of all products on offer.
  • Looking after and offering great customer service in our busy showroom.
  • Selling and quoting the latest IT technology.
  • Following up previous sales.
  • Attend to telephone calls with customers during the sales process.
  • Attend to telephone calls relating to support enquiries.
  • Keeping the showroom displays up to a high standard.
  • Other duties as stipulated by the directors/managers of the business.

Requirements would include:

  • More than 2 years of retail experience ideally in a similar field.
  • Extensive experience selling comparable products.
  • Outstanding teamwork, communication, and arbitration abilities.

Your tasks would include:

  • Designing website banners and content.
  • Designing and updating product information.
  • Updating our website and social media sites as well as looking after our CL community.
  • Identifying new and interesting digital tactics.
  • Designing weekly newsletters with regards to new products and specials (Promotions).
  • Create and run promotions on our Computer Lounge site
  • Helping out the team where needed.

Requirements would include:

  • Experience in graphic design and video making (Photoshop, illustrator, Corel draw, in Design etc.)
  • Social media & tech-savvy.

We are looking for an experienced and confident warehouse store person with strong work ethic to join our team. The opportunity involves being part of our warehouse team providing fast and efficient dispatch of our customer orders.

Your tasks would include:

  • Receiving and checking of deliveries inwards and outwards.
  • Processing and dispatching customer orders.
  • Stocking in of goods and keeping the warehouse organised
  • Helping customers track their deliveries.
  • Packing and making boxes, sweeping floors and tidying up
  • Picking orders in preparation for dispatch.
  • Daily stocktaking.
  • Keeping the Bin area tidy.

Requirements would include:

  • A sound understanding of warehouse procedures and practices.
  • Calm under pressure, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle a forklift.

  • Write compelling and high-quality website content, including blog posts and page descriptions
  • Organic search optimization and ROI maximization.
  • Monitor redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and other KPIs.
  • Work with web developers and our marketing team to properly implement SEO best practices.
  • Help with strategic planning with category growth.
  • Stay up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing latest trends and best practices.
