Here at Computer Lounge every order is important to us. Making sure you get your order safely in your hands is our top priority. Every single order is meticulously wrapped in bubble by hand giving each item a blanket of protection before being placed into a cardboard shipper or courier bag, to prevent any movement during transportation, we take care to fill all gaps with scrunched newspaper making the box of items very stable and secure.
Once your order is packaged and ready to go we will dispatch your order using a signature only courier ticket to make sure you can track it every step of the way and to make sure it ends up in the right place.
How much is shipping?
If you choose the 'Free Shipping' option under the 'Courier Options Page' your order will be delivered free within the North and South Island of New Zealand on a Computer Lounge preferred courier, which is supported by the local courier network.
How long does 'Free Shipping' take?
Once an order is ready to be dispatched, most items take an average of 2-3 working days in North Island. And 3-4 working days if you are in the South Island. Please allow an extra day if you live in a rural address.
Can I choose my own courier?
Yes you can. In the order process there is an option to 'Choose Your Own' courier. We list all the available couriers and their pricing.
How long does 'Choose Your Own' courier shipping take?
Once an order is ready to be dispatched most items take an average of 1-2 working days in North Island. And 2-3 working days if you are in the South Island. Please allow an extra day if you live in a rural address.
Is there a way that I can get my order processed faster?
Yes, we have a separate "Warp Speed" team that works in parallel with our normal dispatch team to make sure your order gets that extra bit of attention. You can select this option during the order process. The cost is also shown. This is also dependant on stock availability.
How long does it take for Computer lounge to dispatch an order for components?
If the items have been paid for and security checked (If applicable) and is also in stock, it normally takes 1-3 business days to process and dispatch an order. Allow an extra day if there has been a public holiday in that week.
How long does it take for Computer Lounge to dispatch a custom built system?
Customs builds take 5-7 working days to build / test and dispatch, you will need to allow up to 4 working days for delivery depending on what courier option you have chosen. Please note we do not start building your machine until we have payment.
Do you dispatch orders on weekends?
No, we are only able to dispatch orders from Monday to Friday.
Is freight still free if I live on Waiheke Island, Stewart Island or any other island that are not the North or South Island of New Zealand if I choose 'Free Shipping'?
No we will have to quote you specifically with regards to the cost of freight to these places as they are outside the normal courier delivery network.
Is there an option for better packaging?
Yes, we have "Armour Plate your Delivery" option in the order process which gives you that extra level of protection you are looking for.
When my order is dispatched how can find out where it is?
When we dispatch and complete your order, we will automatically send you an email to let you know it is on its way. We will also give you a direct link so you can track it. Most tracking emails are dispatched in the mid afternoon. You will need to give the courier system at least a couple of business hours to update their system for you to be able to start tracking your delivery.
