Product Manager

We’re looking for a confident, dedicated and industrious individual who is ready to help us out with our expanding business. Due to our growth, we need another pair of hands helping out in our very busy, Mt Wellington-based office.

You will be responsible for sourcing and managing the latest computer products.

Essential qualifications are (about you):

1. Extensive knowledge of computers and components with previous experience in a similar environment preferably for more than 2 years
2. A degree in the IT field
3. Courteous and takes initiatives
4. Strong business and marketing acumen
5. Ability to work well on your own and self-manage (not be a clock watcher!).
6. Exceptional organisation and communication skills

You will be responsible for (the role):

1. Prepare, process and manage purchase orders
2. Controlling and managing inventory level and turnover rate
3. To be active and strategic in new product selection
4. Negotiations with suppliers to ensure accurate and quick delivery of goods
5. To analyse market trends and create and implement market activity to capitalise on the trends
6. Setting up pricing strategy for all products to ensure maximum profitability while staying competitive in the market
7. Ensure that budgets / targets are achieved i.e.; weekly targets, monthly targets, quarterly targets

Hours of work:

Monday - Friday 8.30am – 5pm

Digital Marketing / Design Assistant

If you’re a PC gamer / design wizard we have a job for you. We want an experienced and confident Digital Marketing Assistant with excellent communication skills and a fun, positive and problem-solving approach to getting the job done From Mon - Fri 8.30am – 5pm. You will be helping our team look after our various social media sites while also updating the Computer Lounge website etc.

Essential qualifications are:-

- Sound technical knowledge of PC hardware,
- Skilled in Microsoft applications,
- Must be proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Edge
- Experience with social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram etc.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, PHP, XML, Javascript
- Ability to work well on your own and with others (not be a clock watcher)
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be ok with occasional weeknight or weekend work as needed for real time engagement.
- Have at least 1-2 years Marketing and Design history

You will be responsible for:-

- Designing website banners and content.
- Designing and updating product information.
- Updating our website and social media sites as well as looking after our CL community.
- Identifying new and interesting digital tactics.
- Designing weekly newsletters with regards to new products and specials (Promotions).

Hours of work:-
Monday - Friday 8.30am – 5pm

Technical Support Engineer / RMA

We are looking for a confident and hardworking individual to help out with our expanding business.
Due to our growth, we need another pair of hands helping out in our busy, Mt Wellington based warehouse/showroom.

Enthusiasm for computer and latest trends in IT industry is a must for this job.

You will be responsible for:

1. Organising repairs and warranty returns to suppliers.
2. Attending phone calls with customers during the warranty/or servicing process.
3. PC and laptop maintenance and servicing, including watercooled systems.
4. Upgrading and configuring to a client's requirements.

Essential qualifications are:

1. Sound technical knowledge of hardware.
2. Skilled in Microsoft applications.
3. Well organised with the ability to follow instructions.
4. Experience in diagnosing and repairing OS and general Windows software.
5. Efficient at using a BIOS interface.
6. Good communication skills.
7. Ability to work well on your own (not be a clock watcher).
8. An ace at troubleshooting.

Hours of work:

Monday - Friday 8.30am – 5pm

System Builder



Work for New Zealand's Best Computer Company!

We are looking for a confident and hardworking individual to help out with our expanding business.
Due to our growth, we need another pair of hands helping out in our busy, Mt Wellington based warehouse/showroom.

You will be responsible for:

1. Building PCs
2. Planning and manufacturing custom watercooled PCs
3. Managing and maintaining the workshop
4. Working with the sales team to meet client requirements
5. Upgrading and configuring to client requirements
6. Installation of software and stress testing
7. Formulating and enforcing the general standards / quality control when building and servicing machines from: configuring desktops, workstations / servers / notebooks
8. Producing one off custom machines for showroom and online promotions.
9. Making structural PC modifications where neccesary
10. PC maintenance and servicing

Essential qualifications are:

1. Outstanding technical knowledge of hardware
2. Prior experience with custom loop watercooling
3. Skilled in Microsoft applications
4. Well organised with the ability to follow instructions
5. Experience in diagnosing and repairing OS and general Windows software
6. Efficient at using a BIOS interface
7. Good communication skills
8. Ability to work well on your own (not be a clock watcher)
9. An ace at troubleshooting

Hours of work:

Monday - Friday 8.30am – 5pm
Saturday 10am – 4pm
