If you’re a gamer or an overclocking nut we have a job for you. We want an experienced and confident IT technician/builder/installer with excellent communication skills and a fun positive problem-solving approach to getting the job done. From 9.30am – 6pm you will be building high end gaming PCs, home theatre media PCs and corporate workstations while giving technical and customer support directly to the customer in house and by phone. Essential qualifications are: - Sound technical knowledge of hardware installation - Skilled in Microsoft applications - Experience in diagnosing/fixing OS and general Windows software - Good communications skills. - Ability to work well on your own (not be a clock watcher) - A troubleshooter ace You will be responsible for: - Building systems to order with cable management - Configuring desktops, workstations and servers - Installing software and stress testing - PC maintenance and servicing - Upgrading and configuring to a client’s requirements - Attend to telephone calls with customers during the building and/or servicing process - Organize for repairs and warranty returns to suppliers Send your CV to: sales@computerlounge.co.nz
